The group revised its reporting segments during the fiscal year, including reassigning the segments of certain companies such as WealthNavi, Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking, Mitsubishi UFJ Real Estate Services, and Japan Digital Design. To meet the diverse financial needs of customers, the group has built a group-integrated organizational structure that transcends traditional business categories and delivers financial products and services as a unified whole, and it has adopted a business-group system under which strategy is formulated and operations are advanced on a unified basis through coordination among group companies. Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group is classified as a designated listed company, and accordingly applies consolidated figures for the size-based numerical thresholds used to assess materiality under insider trading regulations.

３ 【事業の内容】当社グループは、当社、連結子会社334社及び持分法適用関連会社54社で構成され、「世界に選ばれる、信頼のグローバル金融グループ」を目指し、銀行業務、信託銀行業務、証券業務を中心に、クレジットカード・貸金業務、リース業務、資産運用業務、その他業務を行っております。当社グループの、各報告セグメント(「第５ 経理の状況 １ 連結財務諸表等 (1) 連結財務諸表 注記事項(セグメント情報等) セグメント情報」に掲げるセグメントの区分と同一)における主要な関係会社の位置づけ等は以下のとおりであります。なお、当連結会計年度より、報告セグメントの区分を変更しております。詳細は、「第５ 経理の状況 １ 連結財務諸表等 (1) 連結財務諸表 注記事項(セグメント情報等)の「１ 報告セグメントの概要」をご参照ください。 ＊１ 各社の該当する主な報告セグメントに◎を記載＊２ 2024年4月1日付で、ウェルスナビ株式会社の報告セグメントを、その他からリテール・デジタル事業本部に変更＊３ 2024年4月1日付で、三菱ＵＦＪ信託銀行株式会社・三菱ＵＦＪ不動産販売株式会社の報告セグメントにリテール・デジタル事業本部を追加＊４ 2024年4月1日付で、Japan Digital Design株式会社の報告セグメントを、リテール・デジタル事業本部からその他へ変更 なお、当社グループでは、お客さまの様々な金融ニーズに対応するため、既存の業態の枠を超え、グループ一体となって金融商品・サービスを提供するグループ融合型の組織体制を構築しており、グループ各社の連携のもと一元的に戦略を定め事業を推進する事業本部制度を導入しております。 (注) 指名・ガバナンス委員会は、会社法上の指名委員会であります。 なお、当社は特定上場会社等に該当し、インサイダー取引規制の重要事実の軽微基準のうち、上場会社の規模との対比で定められる数値基準については連結ベースの計数に基づいて判断することとなります。
